What we do
Asim studies how robots behave around people. We stress-test robots in real-world and simulated scenarios, looking at physical safety, semantic safety and malicious use.
Our approach
Safety depends on the robot, its task and its surroundings. Our work starts with that context: what the robot is asked to do, what could go wrong and how to measure the risk.
We’re also advancing research into monitoring a robot’s actions during execution, with the aim of anticipating risk before it becomes harm.
